Mr. Ratner collaborates with senior administration and WMCHealth affiliates to develop and execute strategies that enhance offered services in order to deliver improved clinical outcomes and an exceptional patient experience. To accomplish this, Mr. Ratner shepherds network business development and leads the evolution of integrated service lines that provide quality, compassionate care across the 10 hospitals within the network, as well as WMCHealth’s other service offerings, including advanced nursing care, behavioral health and at-home services.

Mr. Ratner transitioned into his network role in January 2017 after his highly successful tenure as Chief Strategy Officer at HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley (HealthAlliance). There, Mr. Ratner was instrumental in the process that brought HealthAlliance into WMCHealth and was a key figure in the planning of recently announced projects that will result in a 110,000-square-foot expansion and renovation of HealthAlliance Hospital: Mary’s Avenue Campus in Kingston, as well as a medical village hub at HealthAlliance Hospital: Broadway Campus, also in Kingston. The projects are expected to transform healthcare delivery in Kingston and surrounding communities.

Mr. Ratner secured his Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Stony Brook University and his Master’s Degree in Public Health in Health Policy & Management from New York University. When he and his wife, Amy, are not engaged in an activity with one of their four children, Mr. Ratner, an avid runner, can be found jogging in and around his town of residence, Wesley Hills.
