Youth Mental Health First Aid

Youth Mental Health First Aid USA is an 8 hour public education program which introduces participants to the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents, builds understanding of the importance of early intervention, and teaches individuals how to help an adolescent in crisis or experiencing a mental health challenge. Mental Health First Aid uses role-playing and simulations to demonstrate how to assess a mental health crisis; select interventions and provide initial help; and connect young people to professional, peer, social, and self-help care.

Care Coordination for Frontline Workers: This program is designed to teach important skills regarding the coordination of patient care. This training program also relates to New York State’s DSRIP objectives to improve the way health care services are delivered.

Advanced Motivational Interviewing

Advanced Motivational Interviewing: is one day advanced training that provides practitioners with an opportunity to assess their proficiency, expand their skills, and engage in periodic supervision. This training will enhance coaching to maximize effectiveness in helping patience and clients make positive changes to improve health outcomes. Participants will  identify  their  strengths  and  clinical  challenges  ,  and discuss strategies for continued learning and development.
